Santanu Khan is a globally recognized leader in the energy industry, bringing more than 20 years of experience to his role as Senior Vice President of Investments and Financial Advisory at CenTrio. He has deep expertise across greenfield development, energy infrastructure investments, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), public‑private partnerships (P3s), and project finance, with a focus on infrastructure and renewable energy initiatives. 

Over the course of his career, Santanu has led and supported the M&A and greenfield development of a 1GW+ renewable power generation portfolio across the United States and Canada. He has also spearheaded landmark energy management concessions, P3s, and large‑scale energy infrastructure projects with a combined transaction value exceeding $4.5 billion. 

In his current role at CenTrio, Santanu partners closely with the Board of Directors to oversee deal structuring, capital sourcing, project financing, and investment underwriting. He plays a central role in shaping the company’s investment strategy and advancing complex, capital‑intensive energy solutions. 

Prior to joining CenTrio, Santanu held senior executive leadership positions at global independent power producers and utility companies, including ENGIE and Drax Group. He holds an MBA in Finance from Duke University.
